Chapel Hill Health Centre has partnered with Healtheon to offer additional administrative support and online tools through a Patient Portal, aiming to improve communication and expand ways for patients to reach the clinic.

Is joining the Chapel Hill Patient Portal mandatory?

Joining the patient portal is completely optional; however, many patients find it helpful for accessing our clinic communication and billing tools. You may register for a free account for immediate access to your patient portal.

Uninsured Services

The Ministry of Health does not pay for some medical and non-medical services which you may require. In keeping with the recommendations of the Medical Association, the following fee guidelines will be used by doctors working at this centre. Please note that each doctor reserves the right to charge a fee that is different than the recommended fees listed. Patients will be charged for individual medical and non-medical services not covered by the Ministry of Health.

The power of an integrated AI-powered technology in a primary care is transformative, offering many benefits for both healthcare providers and patients alike.

Chatbots are available round-the-clock, allowing patients to access clinic information and support at any time, even outside of regular clinic hours.

We are also bringing a Voice Bot to your clinic very soon, that will be able to provide immediate responses to inquiries, eliminating the need to wait for office hours, leave voicemails or navigate through phone menus.

Team-Based Care Model

Healtheon aims to bring a Team-Based Care approach to your clinics, offering patients a wider selection of healthcare services. The primary care structure is evolving, many physician responsibilities can be fulfilled by nurse practitioners, physician assistants or IMGs, realigning a physician’s time to see more medically critical or urgent patients.

By leveraging the skills and qualifications of other healthcare professionals, clinics can collectively see more patients and ensure a more holistic approach to care is provided.

What is a Patient Portal?

The Patient Portal is your gateway to all Healtheon benefits. Here, you can communicate with your clinic, schedule appointments, request prescription refills, and engage with our AI-powered chatbot.

Is Joining Healtheon Optional?

YES! Joining the Healtheon portal is completely OPTIONAL. However, we do recommend that all patients create a free Starter Account to ease communications and billing from the clinic.

Is it Free?

The Starter Plan gives you access to the patient portal at no cost. You may choose whether or not your would like to upgrade your wellness plan to include additional clinic and Healtheon services.

How do I register for my Free Starter Account?

You will receive an email invite from Healtheon to register. Click the link in your email and choose your password. If you haven’t received an invite, and would like one, please email support@healtheon.ca

How many plans are there?

There are 2 paid plans:

The Basic Wellness Plan is $24.99/month. This will cover most uninsured services and unlock more technology features in your Patient Portal, including a ticketing system to communicate with your clinic, online appointment booking, prescription refill requests, and more.

The Essential Wellness Plan is $44.99/month offers everything in the Basic Wellness Plan, plus access to RCM Health Complexity Care Audit and Case Review.

How do I Upgrade?

Patients can upgrade through the Healtheon Patient Portal. Your membership will give you access to more online tools, benefits and help your clinic establish team-based care.
